The Old Bus Terminus is in the heart of the city. The new Bus Terminus is in the Northern Boundary of the Town.

Bus Stand (North)-General Report

The New Bus Stand for North area abutting between the P.N. Road has been constructed in T.S. No. 21A to the extent of 7.98 Acres.  The land belongs to Pitchampalayam Mariamman Temple has been alienated to the Tirupur Corporation  Vide G.O.No 137 Dated 30.04.1997 of the Hindu Religious Endowment Department   to the  land value fixed Rs. 3.23 Crores.  Subsequently the request of the Municipal Council the land value fixed for the above land has been reduced to half  (i.e.) 1.62 Crores vide by the Government  Letter No. 15838/RE/5-1/97-4 Dated 13.03.2000.   The Corporation paid the amount of Rs. 50 Lakhs to the Pitchampalayam Mariamman Temple Authorities. In  the rear side of the Bus Stand,  the Uzhavar Sandhai was formed and now functioning. 

            The New Bus Stand constructed getting from the following financial assistance.  The Regional Transport Authorities  has approved this Bus Stand as “A” Class Category.
